Access Analysis Objective: To determine the impact of shade from a proposed dwelling on a pool proposed on the same premises during the winter months. Results: As seen from the partial drawing below, the proposed pool is impacted by shade from the proposed dwelling beginning at 1:10pm EST on December 21st. By 3:24pm, the entire pool is in shade. By studying the shadow patterns, the architect was able to shift the pool and house such that the pool's exposure to direct sun was increased.
